Silver State Awards XVII - Women Awards Honorees Announced

The TMG Entertainment Network today announced the Honorary Awards recipients of the 17th Silver State Awards - Women Awards honoring & Recognizing outstanding leadership, inspiration, vision and innovations by individuals that have shaped women roles within private and public sectors in Las Vegas. The awards honorees reflect the wide spectrum of accomplishments these outstanding women have achieved.

Chet Buchanan and Tracey Vlahos will host the Awards on Saturday, November 19 from the South Point Hotel.

The Humanitarian Award - Recipient: Nancy Houssels The "Humanitarian Award” is given to honor individuals whose contributions & commitments to Las Vegas exemplify compassion & Humanitarianism. This Award honors outstanding individuals for their Humanitarian & Volunteer activities. The recipient has served the community and those in need as well as embraces the value of human spirit. The Entrepreneur Award - Recipient: Julie Murray

The Award is presented to a female Entrepreneur who not only strives to build a great company, but also contributes to the success of other Women Entrepreneurs.

The Jim Rogers Spirit of Education Award - Recipient: Terri Janison

The Award honor an individual’s extraordinary distinction in Lifetime success & recognizes Leaders who have maintained a professional lifelong commitment to Education in Las Vegas/Clark County & Great state of Nevada.
